  • From ‘Select the beta you would like to opt into’ select game version.
  • We recommend that you refer your issue to the developer of the mod and/or to revert, where possible, to a previous build version of the game. If after unsubscribing/deleting mods you find that your issue is fixed, then it is almost certain that your issue is mod related!
  • Click on 'Verify Integrity of Game Files.' button.
  • Note: you will have to click/search through numbered folders to reveal content. Program Files (x86) > Steam > SteamApps > workshop > content Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > data To ensure that you have cleanly and correctly uninstalled Workshop mods, press the 'Unsubscribe' button next to any mods you have installed.ĬHECK THAT MODS HAVE BEEN REMOVED & VERIFY YOUR GAME FILES!Īfter removing mods, we recommend checking the install/program paths of mods and to verify your game files (to check integrity of installation) as referenced below.
  • Click on 'Browse’ Subscribed Items' on the right, underneath the 'YOUR FILES’ header.
  • Click on the 'BROWSE THE WORKSHOP' button that appears in the game info in the centre of the screen.
  • Click on Total War Game in your games list.
  • You can find a list of mods you are currently subscribed to by doing the following:įrom the launch panel of the game, click on Mod Manager.Ī list of mods, that are tied to your game, with be shown plus their status.įrom the Active Column, click on the switch button (this will stop the mod from being automatically installed). NOTE: you may need to start a new game campaign if you existing/current game save is mod dependent!
  • Drop the 7z archive into the "drop zone" at the bottom of the page.If you are experiencing an issue with your game, removing STEAM Workshop modifications (mods) may resolve your issue, or allow us to better troubleshoot the problem if it persists.
  • In Vortex, enabled advanced mode in the settings.
  • Remember, this is very much a beta extension. I've gone all in with games, just to see how robust it is. You also cannot reinstall the mods as no archive is created (possible improvement). Once mods have been import to Vortex they will no longer be updated when the Steam Workshop entry updates. If for some reason Steam falls out of whack and doesn't uninstall the mods properly you will need to manually delete the files from your workshop folder. Vortex will offer you handy buttons to open each workshop page. You can select which mods to import, then you will be prompted to unsubscribe from the workshop versions before the process completes. I have only tested this with Steam Workshop for Skyrim 2011. Please report any problems you encounter. This extension is currently in beta and may include bugs.
